Step 2 - The Art of Packing
At no other time does the importance of skill and experience
come into play than in packing. Properly packing items – from fragile
heirlooms to expensive electronics – ensures safe passage for all
of your belongings.
And nobody does it better than Premiere Van Lines. Our professional packers
understand that every item you own demands the right material and packing
method. From wooden crates for antiques to dust-free wardrobe cartons
for clothes, to stretch wrap for upholstered furniture, we guarantee the
maximum protection available for your items.
“You did a terrific job moving my laboratory from Pittsburgh
to Toronto. The equipment is large and heavy (and some of it is quite
delicate), so I am very impressed it made it intact. I have already recommended
you and will continue to do so.”
Jumi A. Shin - University of Toronto
• We wrap all breakables such as china and crystal individually
using proven techniques. Plates are packed standing on end and stemware
is always placed in individual, corrugated cylinders.
• Our dust-proof, reinforced wardrobe cartons keep your clothing
and draperies neat and clean. So they’re ready when you are.
• The ideal way to move electronic components (computers, TVs,
stereos, etc.) is in their original boxes with the original material.
If you don’t have the original boxes, we can simply substitute using
our own professional materials.
• For that priceless antique table, chandelier or fragile sculpture,
you can be assured we only use custom wooden crates and protective packing.
Our specialty is careful, protective packaging.
• Our reinforced telescoping cartons offer maximum protection for
mirrors and precious glass-front artwork.
• We have no problem moving oversized or complicated items. From
pool tables and pianos, to laboratories and art exhibits, we’ve
done and seen it all, and moved it successfully.
• For the safety of all your other belongings, we cannot accept
aerosols, caustic drain cleaners or flammables such as gasoline, charcoal
starter, paint thinner and bottled gas.
• Not everything requires professional packaging. If you’re
planning to pack some items yourself, consider using the same materials
we use – double and triple cell constructed cartons, cushioning
wraps and packing tapes.
